In a Tizzy
I’m not new to the internet, but I am new here since I am a Luddite at heart and late to most tech-related things. But I’m trying this. See, I’m a writer, and here I’ll be sharing posts and stories and musings about the things I am in a tizzy about.
Not sure what “in a tizzy means”? You probably did not have a Southern mother like mine then. My mom, Cindy, said people were “in a tizzy” often. It means you’re in a distracted or agitated state of mind. You’re anxious, worried, befuddled, confused, panicking, worried. Sound about right? Then… WELCOME!
I’m not writing a long post today because I am about to drive my 7.5 year old son to sleep-away camp for the first time and guess what? As excited as I am for him, I am also in a bit of a tizzy about being away from him for so long. He, of course, is not in a tizzy. Anyhow, welcome to my Substack. There’s much more to come.

Woohoo and welcome. Also, everything I know I learned at sleepaway camp. It is the gift of a lifetime.
